For over 30 years, poets, musicians and story tellers have come from all over the country to share their talents and to celebrate the time-honored traditions of our childhood heroes - The American Cowboy! You can almost hear the spurs jingling and the old camp cook calling in the riders to a hot meal of the finest beef, biscuits, beans
For over 30 years, poets, musicians and story tellers have come from all over the country to share their talents and to celebrate the time-honored traditions of our childhood heroes - The American Cowboy! You can almost hear the spurs jingling and the old camp cook calling in the riders to a hot meal of the finest beef, biscuits, beans and boiled coffee. Not only do we hear of historic days of old, but they also tell of the contemporary western way of life we still live today.
Enjoy a trade show, western art show, and take in many of the free cowboy poetry and music performances throughout the day.
All events take place at the Valentine Methodist Church and Valentine High School.
Tickets are available for will-call by filling out the registration form above or will also be available at the door.
Come to Valentine, settled in the historic Sandhills of Nebraska to mingle shoulder to shoulder with modern day cowboys, ranchers and craftsmen. Be entertained, as well as, become acquainted with the people who live here and still uphold the western heritage and cowboy way of life.
